I think you should leave it in and ask your doctor to push it to the left when he reaches in with his fist. A slight tickle will take your mind off of the uncomfortable feeling of being examined.
Come on man! Do you really think we are going to believe you are going to see a doctor for a prostrate exam wearing a but plug?
The doctor should it's the part that is covered by your co-pay it almost like the happy ending at the massage joint.Another plus is he might give you a refund if he doesn't need to use his own lube and he might give you a reach around if your plug is as big as you indicate and you can just bend over and hold your cheeks apart and he can just look in.
If I were you I would remove it myself. The doctor might not be too gentle removing it!
