the reading i made of some paterial says you cannot have excess desire so normal desires are fine. And since masturbatiuon is merely a normal and healthy response to a normal desire, it shoud not offend. Now some people may argue that point sayign that any sexual urges are excess desire, but c'mopn people, there are normal sexual urges and there are excessive ones and no law can deny a person their normal ones.
As for masturbation being a sexual practice, that is open to one's own interpetation. Personally, I feel it a way to practice for sex not a sexual practice so I see no problem with masturbating yourself. Again other will disagree with me but I suspect they have their owen personal hangups to back up their beliefs and are not open to the real way of things sex wise.
So, if you want my opinion I'd say as long as you masturbate no more than twice a day, you are not being excessive. and as long as you are doing it to satisfy normal teen urges, you are okay. However, if you watch porn to get yourself horny or are imagininyg having sex with someone whiel masturbating then maybe you have turned it from a normal thing into somethign a liittle sexual and/or excessive.

Do whatever you want. Religion has messed up people for centuries causing all kinds of guilt feelings, not to mention wars and and very other kind of bad thing.
