because he enabled us all to achieve salvation
Because he was supposed to be God on Earth - ie - a fellow man who got to experience life and suffering just like the rest of us suckers down here.

because he is the trinity, father--we are his children son--we are his brothers and sisters and holy spirit he is all yet we are only 1 of 1 part where as he is 1 of 3 does that make sense?
Jesus was God, in reincarnation. Jesus, although he was god's son, was a reincarnation of himself. Jesus was sent to carry out God's word, and we [at least if you believe in it] are all God's children and we are all special in our own way.

Because if everyone was viewed the same there would be no such thing as religion and no one would get any money,
Jesus is not God, Jesus is a messenger of God sent as a miracle to help the people and guide them.
Because he is the only one of GOD's children that has managed to follow all of the rules. He is completely sinless and used this atribute to pay for the sin of the world, enabling all of us to achieve salvation.

I don't think this was the forum to place this question but i will give it a run. I know In the Bible Jesus was special because he was without sin he was a person without blemish. He was god in human form, he came to earth to be sacrificed for us because we are not without sin. If you believe in him and what he did by dying on the cross as payment for your sins you are saved.
Ask a religious one. I'm an athiest but,I respect Jesus because I think he was a great phisopher but all he had sid were said betzeen 200-100 years before he was born.And the Tradiions,25th of December has been a holy day in Mithraism(the exact 25th of december) and so on.But if you're happy being reigious keep on the good job,I not only think he was the God, but I dont even think it had never crossed his mind to have co many followers.No offence but I don't think we're children of god but nature.(Not to mention monkies!)
