Is it normal for the head of your penis sting sometimes?!

Question: Are you circumcised or uncircumcised? If you're uncircumcised and the glans (penis head) pokes out or comes out from under the foreskin when erect, it might be oversensitive. This could cause that stinging sensation.

It's common for uncircumcised guys to have an almost overly sensitive glans. There are a few ways to deal with this. When taking a shower/bath, be sure to pull back the foreskin and wash the area underneath with soap and water like you would any other part of the body. If the glans is too sensitive, then just running water over it should be okay. Another thing to try is to just pull back the foreskin and expose the glans to the air for a few minutes a day.

After a month or so of this, you'll begin to get used to the sensitivity so it won't bother you as much and should stop stinging.

it depends how you mean stinging

Yes, if it is irritated in some way.

No, a "stinging" or painful sensation when you urinate usually implies there is a medical condition that needs attention. Depending on how far up the pain travels, even men can get bladder infections, or yeast infections. Granted, this is not as common in men as it is in women, but it is possible. Another consideration is if your sexually active, and it is also possible to have picked up something that way. Please contact your medical doctor, and have this condition checked out. Your health is nothing to be passive about.
