Am i heavy or too light for my age and height?!


Question: i am 13, 14 in january . approx 5ft 7in
i weigh about 125 pounds
i go to the gym 3 times a week and i do have quite a good body and a very high metabolism.

Hey, it good to see that you want to keep track of things in your life. the main way in which it is decided if you are heavy or too light is by using the BMI scale. this is basically height divided by weight. your BMI is 19.58, and this is great to be in your ideal weight range your BMI needs to be any ware from 18.5 and 24.9. so you are nether overweight or underweight. however if you continue to go to the gym alot and start to build very large muscles then the BMI scale will not work for you. for example a rugby (football) player will be very built up and muscles weight a lot more than fat so a player may weigh 15,16,17 stone which sounds very heavy and the BMI scale would say there over weight but in fact they are perfectly fit much fitter andhealthier than most. hope this helps.

You probaly have a averge type of weight, trust me my brother weighs heavier, almost like my dad. Bro-14 Dad-47 and Mum-46 and he weighs heavier then my mum. Anyway it is about what you think no anyone else!

You seem just fine to me. maybe a little tall for your age, but you're the right weight.

Wow......you don't have to worry.......you are like a perfect example for desperate boys.....you are 13? u are pretty tall! Because you are tall, I guess the weight doesn't matter....you could weigh alot because of muscles...... =D
