he said that because he does not find it as enjoyable as the world makes it seem. Society makes sex look like its this amazing thing that you will enjoy more than anything else. he is simply saying that there is other stuff he enjoys more than sex. that doesn't mean he doesnt like sex it just means he thinks sex is not accurately portrayed in society =)

maybe he likes it so much or is good at it a lot that he wants to avoid it now..or thinks its just not as stimulating for him....your job is not to worry about that...and def dont cheat on him cuz of no sex..especailly if u really are commited and like him..but..stimulate him in many other ways that im sure he wouldnt consider to be overrated...and if this doesnt work....give him the best time in bed he ever had...thats what i'd do with a girl if she told me that lol....
Maybe he thinks you guys should do other stuff besides sex. Maybe he rates other activites as higher value. I would agree with him. That doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy sex. But maybe you're either having it 2 often for him, or he just needs to do other things also. Either one.

These are the possible reasons.
1. Your sex may only involve pure dry humping. Girls may like hard and aggressive intercourse that involves "piston movements", but trust me. It's really hard for guys to keep doing that. The fatigue may even kill the sexual arousal. A little of oral sex and foreplay can boost up the feeling.
2. He may try to sound like a priest cuz he may think that acting stoic and ethical may make his persona better, which is not true. Remember, ALL GUYS have instinctive sex drive.
3. If he is sincere, well, he might be gay, which i think is not so probable.
I'd say he is rather stupid and you need to get a new new one. Unless he is saying that to get you to have sex with him, as in it is no big deal, so lets do it attitude. If he does not respect what you want to do, he is still stupid. trade him in.
Without other information, I'd say he is probably far more mature than he seems.
