I waited till I got married at 28! and it has been worth sticking to the same partner!! Not to say we do not fantasize of have variations - there are many and we are sure that it will never hurt or humiliate any one of us.
I'm pretty sure its sometime during high school that most people lose virginity. Some in college/university, and then the rare few who do it after marriage.

When you are mature enough to handle all the consequences of it (pregnancy, STDs, emotional feelings and on down the line).
If you can't handle all that and more, you need to hold off until you can.
