I am looking to join the Army Reserve, but have migraines. What is the best way !

Question: I am 22. I no longer suffer from migraines, I have not got one in prolly 4-6 years. However when i was 5 I was diagnosed as having migraines. My recruiter said if I can get a doctor to write a note saying I am not afflicted with them, then I can get a waiver and join. I ran cross-country and wrestled in college, so I am tough and in good shape. I was also in the Honors Program in college. I am 100% healthy. Any suggestions on the best route to go would be appreciated. One of my biggest stepping stones, I believe, is the job I am working at now does not offer health insurance. So I would have to pay any visits out fo pocket, so obviously the cheaper the better.

Maybe you can ask your recruiter if he could help you out. Explain to him that your job doesnt offer medical benefits and do not have the money to pay for it out of your own pocket he should be able to help you.
My boyfriend recieved free stitches for his gauges in the AF when he told his recruiter he had no money to pay for it, and if his recruiter could help my boyfriend with a $600 procedure I'm sure he could help with a medical exam.

Hopefully it helps!
