I believe it Seaman.. you are the lucky one.. Heck fire I quit but went back a year ago.. I dont know but I figure it will catch up with us sooner or later.

I CAN'T BELIVE IT...

I had an uncle live to be 90 and a heavy smoker and smoking was not the cause of his death. Have seen others live to be quite elderly, smokers, and not die from smoking. Have seen some die of lung cancer--never smoked 1 cigarette. It might be the death of some but have seen too much--to believe all that this generation says. LOL (I am also a smoker and in the older generation. lol) Good Luck to you

I really believe it has something to do with our genes...
My dad smoked for many years and had lung cancer that didn't start there...wasn't from smoking at all.
I care for a lady 108 who smokes and has for most of her life...and yet there have been others in my care who have never smoked and still had lung cancer...
There have been times when I too wondered if only the good die young...but since I am still here that shoots that theory to hell...LOL

Hey, I just seen your question on my email. I have been smoking since 13 and I am 40 now. Some people can and with all the carcenogenics in our food that cause cancer that have been proven but are still in the food. Oh well, I guess why stop now unless you have the desire to. Me I have to hang on to one bad habit.

God is still going to use you. He is not ready for you to come home yet, you still have a purpose to finish here on earth! I wonder what it is?

I believe it is a genetic thing. I have an aunt who just turned 90 and is still smoking with no ill effects. I also had a cousin who, when she quit smoking, became allergic to her husband's cigarette smoke, so she started smoking again. Three months later she was diagnosed with lung cancer directly attributable to smoking and died from it. I guess there's just no way to know if you are one of the lucky ones (and I hope you - and me - are!).

Oh dear... I hope I last as long as you my Sweet Friend.
I have been a smoker since I was a 16 year Old school girl.
I don't think it will be the smoking that kills me.

you ole dog,you no that if anything is worth a hoot,it dies, and if it ain't worth a kiss out of a snowbirds but ,you can't get rid of it

It is one of those things, one of my grandfathers smoked to the end, and died of old age and not cancer.

I SMOKE AND I AM FOURTEEN AND I PLAY SPORTS
