as long as your sperm touches the water it is useless

sperm only can survive in a certian tempature range. that's why when a guys cold the testicals come in closer to the body to keep the sperm warm, and vice versa.
also, depending on how strong the chlorine is it should kill it. thats to say that is actually in the water, dont depend on the chlorine in the water to kill it once its inside her.

I know the heat does.

no

well i guess its ok to masturbate in the hot tub

no!no!no! believe me she can still get prego

Yes, the hot water will kill sperm, but that's only going to work for you if you are some sort of amphibian who mates by releasing his sperm into the water. A more likely scenario is that you're a human who uses intercourse for mating -- a much more efficient method of sperm delivery than that used by a large majority of fish. You should not rely on the temperature of the hot tub to protect you and your partner from pregnancy. And before you get any ideas, I'm not promoting the withdrawal method here either. Besides being unreliable for preventing pregnancy, it's gross to ejaculate in a hot tub that other people are supposed to use. I don't care what the chlorine and hot water do.
