My son is pretty young and I guess he has done it to show his peers it is no big deal. He grew back a big crop of hair and allowed it to reach his sholders.... He just has fun doing different styles... so I don't think the girls were chasing him down.... But with a man it has to be different.
Try it I think your hair will grow back.
Bald has never been considered beautiful until the year 2000/

I first started doing it back in the early 90's, it was for safety reasons for my job. I also have naturally curly hair which I hate! Now I keep it shaved as I am getting a bald spot...
It suits me, I have a good shaped head for it.
Be careful, because if you don't like it - it grows back strangely during the interim period...
My Dad does every day
He did because he was "thinning" as the top middle I guess. I think he looks way better bald than he ever did with hair. It makes him look so much younger and I think he has a nice shaped head.
If you have a lumpy head, doing this will look strange.
