Question about condoms. please answer as soon as possible!?!

Question: I was reading a box of condoms and it said that a spermicidal lubricant condom shouldn't be used as a substitution for a condom. does that mean that they are like an outside protection layer in addition to a regular condom? should you use both, spermicidal lubricant condoms and traditional one at the same time?

please answer soon if u atually know what ur talking about!!!

What it means is that should should not have unprotected sex and just use a spermicide.

Some condoms come with spermicide already.

If your goal is to prevent transmission of STDs and also prevent a girl from getting pregnant, then a condom with spermicide is the best combination to use.

The spermicide is usually Nonoxyl 9.

nono just use the spermicidal ones if you like. the only difference is the lubricant has a spermicide in it.

I think you misread it. There is spermicidal lubricant which can be purchased separately. They are telling you not to use JUST the lubricant as a subsitution. But, there are also condoms that come with that spermicidal lube on them already.

it means that you shouldnot substitute a spermacidal with a condom, hence you should use condoms with spermicidal if your going to have sex

Should say don't use a spermicide without a condom. Use them with a spermicide and you double up protection. Probably poor translation. If cheap condoms, toss them and get some good quality ones. Condoms come unlubricated (dry) lubricated (waterbased lube) and with spermicide (still lubed).
