Running?????????!


Question: i have lifted heavy for the past year and bulked up 20 lbs. i am 5"6 male 155 lbs. i run 3 miles after each workout now. is that good while still lifting heavy? will it still keep my size and mass? how long should i run and cut down but still keep my size cuz i spent a year tryin to get and dont wanna lose it.

Long disance running consistent will make you stonger and can cause weight loss if your calorie count drops. I've been running for 20 years. When I get ready for marathons I have to increase my daily miles to maintain at current weight.
Just keep eating healthy and keep your miles at 3 easy jogging. You should be able to maintain your weight without dropping.

Just remember to always stretch before and after your run to prevent injury.

there is some muscle loss when running, but with good diet and weight training you should be fine. the benefits of the cardio far outweigh the negative muscle loss

well the more and longer distances you run. you will lose weight,possibly even muscle. it is necessary that you include cardio in your workout so running is good for you. you might want to run so much, because after intense periods of running can cause weight lose--say about 5 lbs. in a two month period, but that is without lifting. i would continue to lift and maybe run 3 miles every other day. see if that helps any...
