It's common for the first penetration to be painful every time, because the muscles in your rectum and anus go into spasm from being over-dilated. Eventually they relax and it stops hurting, say after 2-3 minutes. And eventually (after several experiences), the tissues stretch so it's less of an effort each time. Also, with experience and practice you learn to relax "back there" and to push out, which opens your anus, and neutralizes its instinct to clamp down (keeping "foreign objects" out). Plenty of lubricant helps, and having a partner who takes his time and lets your body adjust to being penetrated and doesn't just masturbate inside of you.
