What are the side effect? You will lose sensitivity in your penis at an earlier age.
i mean does it make your penis big or smaller? It tends to make your penis a bit smaller becasue there is not as much skin to grow into.

Practice gently stretching the skin when you are soft helps this problem a bit.

none of the above kiddo.

ewe

It's a hygiene issue...the foreskin is no longer there and the foreskin would have pulled out of the way at the appropriate time.

IS NOT A SIDE EFFECT and circumcision does NOT CHANGE THE SIZE. you need to go see a DR. there should be no discomfort, you need medical advice.

erections only hurt if they last for a long time. if it hurts in the beginning, see a doctor

Circumcision has nothing to do with the size of ur penis all it does is take the extra skin off your penis

it doesn't make your penis bigger or smaller...circumcisions are done for ggod hygiene. to prevent infections, etc. If you hurt, You might have to see someone, especially since you are not done growing. Good luck.

it doesn't do anything but protect from infection, oh, and that getting harder thing is just cuz your horny

No, no, no. It has nothing to do with affecting your size.
You are at the age now that changes are going to be happening ALOT but no worries, this is normal.
The only side effect would be infection if the parent didn't keep it clean when you were a baby.
If it still hurts and you are 14 it should be healed by now, I suggest you let your parents know so it can get checked out.
Your skin might have healed incorrectly though so you might have to umm... I can't explain but it is nothing bad.
Just have your parents talk to your doctor.

I am not sure the side effects of circumcision but I know I got it done a few days after I was born and it took a couple years before I could walk! lol

Circumcision does not make your genitals big or small, it is done to maintain cleanliness of your genital part. It does not allow infection to grow between foreskin and your penis

Cicumcision has absolutely no effect on penis size, if done correctly. It also has no other erious effects, positive or negative, on anything much at all.

Now, if it gets srewed up, that can cause some issues. If the cut isn't clean, or if it is too close, then it may not heal properly. The scar tissue or exposed flesh can cause erection complications, and even prevent tumescence altogether. There is also the risk of infection which goes with any cutting of the skin.

I think you should sue your parents.

Too many parents (especiall in the U.S.A.) genitally mutilate ("circumcise") their male children. It might be legally tolerated, but if you can show it has caused you pain and suffering, which you most likely can (consult a lawyer) then you may be able to get compensation and create a "landmark case" to help to stop this cruelty happening to other children.

It does affect you physically, as the foreskin is there for a good reason. See the nocirc website

I have been circumcised for over 50 years and have had no problems with it. The pain is normal for EVERY MAN on the planet. It wants to get bigger but you have to persuade it not to do that. I usually have a chat with mine and all is well. However, sometimes I have to get a little rougher with it.

There is no side affects sweetie. The sink doesn't add or take away anything. You're only 14 you need to be worrying about school and not that.

Neither bigger or smaller. I was circumcised at the same age you were and it hurt so bad I didn't walk for about 15 months! You'll be fine.

They cut off the foreskin which covers the hole and infection can get in it. But it has no effect on the size of your penis at all.

The procedure has no effect on size. Most penis are large enough and all jokes aside they are slightly longer than the womens organ. As far as pain, you shouldn't have any so if it continues see a doctor (urologist) that specializes in these things...it may just be part of a young man growing into his own body (growing pains)

When I was looking into circumcising my son (now 11) one doctor told me it's like taking his virginity. Circumcisions are really for those who practice it as there religion or for those lazy people who do not clean right to prevent infections. To this day he has been fine and infection free (knock on wood). You should really talk to your mom I've never heard of this she might want to look into asking an actual medical professional.

It will have no effect on the size. One of the side effects is the lost of sensitivity due to the lack of skin to protect the head of the penis. Uncut guys have a lot more sensitivity than cut guys. Another side effect it could be that your skin got too tight but wait a little bit to see if that problem go away as you grow older.

I don't approve circumcision on babies since many babi boys end up penis-less thanks to medical mistakes (yes sometimes the cut more than they should and there have been a too many reported cases).

Neither. It's only extra skin. Your hard erection is only the maximum engourgement. (blood filling the chambers) It's a good thing dude. Trust me one day you'd pay for that kind.

it's possible they took too much skin, you might want to search for foreskin restoration to get more skin to grow into, it can hold back the size of the penis if there is not enough shaft skin. there are many sexual downsides, see the links below

at that age it would be a good time to start restoring

Being circumsized won't make your penis bigger and despite the previous answerers saying it protects against infection, you still need to wash your penis just as often and as thoroughly as uncircumsized guys do.

That sucks, I'm uncircumsized and now have natural lube and a nice wet d*ck.

Doesn't change the size, but can cause a loss in sensitivity.

About your pain, although some people say it's not connected, it is possible a side effect of circumcision yes. When you're a baby they can't tell how big the penis will grow and don't know quite how much skin to remove. So if they take a way a lot then when you grow, and when your penis gets erect, there isn't much skin to expand which can cause it to hurt because it is getting pulled to tightly and yes sometimes this can make it curved or pull other skin onto the penis or even make it seem slightly smaller than it would otherwise be. This may get better in time but some circumcised guys actually need to have another operation as teens to fix this issue.

Tight, painful erections are a known complication of circumcision. I'm sorry.

They took too much skin, this is a frequent problem with infant "circumcision", and some also get misshapen penises because of uneven skin removal.

The other common side effect is the loss of sensitivity because the four most sensitive areas of the penis have been removed. This causes increasing problems as the male ages.
