You might have experienced an abnormal heart beat. If it recurs, go see your doctor who will perform EKG to find out what it is.

It was actually probably heart palpatations.
Which though, not good, are still better than a heart attack.

probably noting to worry about. The heart is known to take little jumps or pauses from time to time. However if you are concerned feel free to see yrou doctor and get a diagnosis.

Any time your heart misbehaves, go get it checked out and get it checked out by the best heart doctor you can find. They kept telling me that the little pains in my chest were nothing. Well, now that I'm having trouble breathing, it seems that the walls of my heart are thick and I'm not getting enough oxygen. I was out there exercising and doing all the things that one shouldn't do under the circumstances. Your health is ultimately your responsibility. Your heart should not be jumping. It is a sign that something is wrong. You also need a complete workup of labs. The sooner you catch a problem the sooner you can combat it or do something about it. Don't mess around. Time is not on your side.
And a EKG is a waste of money and time unless you think you have just had or are having a heart attack. Go get a good stress test and a MRI-expensive but worth it. If you are heading for problems, you will have comparison tests.
