I would say you are nervous. Just relax and have some really good foreplay...you'll notice a difference.
yes, nerves play a huge role....it will get better, but to be honest, usually mastrubation feels best, because you are in control....even most married guys j.o. occasionally, if not regularly.
Try more forplay or try role playing, that might work...
Find a place where you are comfortable having sex. An awkward twin size bed may be not the best spot to have "good" sex.
