Should guys shave their butt?!

Among other things, yes. It would be advisable to shave your behind if you have a hairy bottom, especially in the crack. There are conditions like pidonial cysts which have been linked to having hairy bottoms.
If you wipe properly, you shouldn't have any skidmarks.
As for shaving, it's a personal preference. Some of my buddies shave, and others think it's wierd. It's just like shaving your balls, pits, legs, etc...personal preference.

There is no need to shave your butt. The best thing is to shower daily to be sure you are clean. If it is that bad maybe trim it back a little.
