Nigginess..

weight gain and another habit.

living

Really jonesing for a smoke.

eating more as its something to do with your hands!

Better health and whilst 'losing the addiction an increased tendency to become irritated.

being crabbit

eating! but something that helps is to drink at least 1/2 litre of orange juice.

wanting a cig!!!!

a cough while all the rubbish is getting out your system and obviously cravings. keep it up-its the best thing you can do!

WHERES MY ******* COFFEE??????

The ability to walk up the stairs without being out of breath, not smelling like an ashtray etc.....

dizzyness. food cravings , coffee craving , in somecase panik attacks. which go eventualy

dizziness (which may only last 1-2 days after quitting)
depression
feelings of frustration, impatience, and anger
anxiety
irritability
sleep disturbances, including having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, and having bad dreams or even nightmares
trouble concentrating
restlessness
headaches
tiredness
increased appetite

Its worth it though!

cravings!
especially when i smell smoke from some one else smoking. my palms get tingly.
o yea and breathing

grouchiness

weight gain.... which causes even more grouchiness

depression... you miss the smokes, everything about them... which causes even more grouchiness

Lungs healing, stinkiness going away. Fingers losing their yellowish tint. No more hacking up crap from your lungs. No more headaches. No more sore throat.

Irritability,possible weight gain, dizziness,

eating, loss of friends (due to biting their heads off) and the sudden urge to buy more (due to having more money)

You stink less.

With me - stress - I shout at everyone

Feeling sick, coughing, feeling like you have a cold, touchy, edgy, irritated by others and it takes quite while to feel better. :)

Coughing up chunks of phlegm from your lungs. My friend quit three years ago and he still coughs a lot. It takes 7-10 years to clear your lungs, but most damage is already done.

An overwhelming craving for a cigarette. You can smell someone lighting a ciggy from 500 metres away. You will eat more, nicotine is an appetite suppressant. You might become constipated or irregular.

For a couple of day you'll be really irritable (the slightest thing could result in you kicking off).

Some people put on weight as they mistake the cravings for hunger. It has nothing to do with having something in your hands as you only smoke for a very small percentage of the time.

After a week or so, most of the immediate cravings will be gone, but you'll actually still want to smoke for ages - just be strong.

After a month you'll start to notice some health benefits and be able to breath easier.

I have seen people putting on weight

moodiness and weight gain but you should drink lots and lots of water and do lots of exercising

The withdrawl is painful, one of the most painful of all drugs.
The only way to give up nicotine adiction is to decide that that you will take no more nicotine ever in your life, no matter how painful it is. Learn to embrace the pain, which can make you stronger if you rise above the pain.
But if you are thinking about the side effects you are really just looking for excuses for your future failure, and you will be too weak to quit forever.
sorry. truth hurts too.

DEATH.My dad gave up smoking (he was asthmatic). After 2 years of dry coughing his heart gave in he was 54. A few weeks after we buried him( my mum was only 48 and we were just kids) our doctor called and told us he should never have quit smoking.

eating chocolate.
