Why is it more acceptable for men to pierce their ears or such than paint their !

Question: they were both things women did at one time a guy can wear any style or size earring he want and nobody says anything but if he paints his toenails he must be strange the toenail polish a whole lot less permanent it's gone in second no healing time needed so why is it?

ANYTHING, done often enough, by enough people, becomes mainstream. Toenail polish for men just has not been done often enough by enough men for it to become mainstream.

By the way, mainstream can also mean boring and blase. Who wants to do what everyone is doing? Be yourself. Blaze your own path. Dare to stand out from the crowd.

I do neither. I've also told my wife, who has suggested I get my ear pierced, that if anyone tries to pierce anything on me they'll be gumming their grits for a while.

I'm not a girl so I don't paint my toenails or pierce anything on my body.

That is JMHO.

first of all call it by it's name it is nail polish and..

it is not normal for a guy to wear nail polish ... it is juts creepy and getting a guys ear peirced it the number one thing girls look for and it helps u get more girl and fast too

Why is toenail polish important to you? Are you doing it because it looks nice or to shock people?

Piercing has gotten way out of hand. It was kind of edgy in the 80's when I was in HS, but I was never sure what kind of a statement guys were trying to make. Before you pierce, puncture, tattoo, or put a plate in your lip, think about how it's going to look when you're 40, 50, 60 and older.

To answer you Q: guys have been painting their toenails for a long time, but they are usually odd men. One famous example from history was Herman Goerring, a top Nazi war criminal. He painted his toes bright red.
