Guys...Can you change?!
Question: My ex bf used to treat me kinda bad...he was a bad drunk and would call me names and stuff... We broke up for 6 months and now he swears that hes changed and that losing me was the hardest thing thats ever happened to him...Do you think people can really change? or is he just saying this to get me back?

You know what, there is no excuse for a guy to act like that continuously.... people can change...but not that much, if he was only like that once in a while it would be OK.... and maybe he has changed, but you know, if he has, you not going with him again will be good thing... he would be more careful next time, and less likely to fall into bad habits... break it off.
If anything, simply because if you look at some of the worse crimes... it was the mean drunks that did them....for your own safety, dont get back together. Like i said, if he has changed, this is his chance for a brand new begining...with someone else.
People can change but I wouldnt put myself in that position again. I would not risk getting hurt again.

Yes, it is possible to change. But I kind of doubt that he did. He didn't treat you well, and now he has to move on.
do not take him back YOu said he treated you bad so that meant you diddnt like the way he treated you (abuse) he would call you names (abuse) and stuff (abuse). You can find a dude that would appreciate YOU and not have you around for convenince and treat you like a dog.

People can change and they could change for different reasons. He might be telling the truth and was upset about loosing you and decided to change or he was upset about loosing you and decided to kick the bottle, or he could have found the lord and it has really changed him
