Does having an MRI on my hip region harm my sperm?!

Question: I had an MRI a couple of months ago on the whole of my hip region, and someone told me that the powerful magnetic field may have destroyed or mutated my sperm. Is this true? If so, does this mean that it is unsafe to try for a baby?

your sperm that were damaged and are long gone

you make millions of new sperm every minute

if you want, add details in your question and i will explain how

Probably not the magnetic field, but the radiation that would damage sperm. Not to worry tho, as after a couple of ejaculations, the damaged sperm will be discharged.

X-rays can cause genetic damage, but MRIs aren't X-rays. They're completely safe in that respect.
