Coffee: yes
Sugar Puffs: definitely
also: asparagus
Chemical changes as a result of metabolism and elimination of waste are the causes. This is normal. Increased water consumption can help and most of us need more any way. Do know this though: there is also such a thing as too much water.
BTW: the diabetes diagnosis story is true too. There is also a more disturbing story of physicians tasting urine for sweetness before lab tests were available :(~

Two words. Sugar Puffs.

this happens to me when I have sugar puffs
haahee jane great minds eh

you are what you eat..thats why you smell what yu eat..jus eat healthy and enjoy the smell twice..I say! ;0)

Cos you have what your eating beside you as your taking a dump.

Dude, this seems like a serious medical issue that you should be asking a doctor.

drink some water, i bet u hardly drink any, u need 2 litres a day, just go get a glass and run that tap

You must have a really good 'smeller!" Are you part bloodhound?

Worst is when you have curry smelling pee, lol.

To do with the waste that your body doesnt want from these products your eating or drinking and it just gets rid of em and brings out the smell with em too.

Because your ingesting way too much coffee (and other unhealthy products).

Drink less caffeine, less sugar and more water.

Soon you will see that your urination will be clearer, and less uh...odorant, that is the first sign of a healthy diet.

Did you know that your dog is wondering why you keep peeing in his porcelain drinking bowl? Seriously, this is a sign that you are actually not getting enough good clean water to properly flush your system...

really?? i have never heard of that!!

i don't think its much of a problem, but obviously that's not a professional opinion!!

id say its probably just because of your specific individual diet!! does it happen with any other food or frink??

what do you think it is? it is cleaning your body and taking the foods you eat out of your system.

Drink more water. Wee is a waste product of what you eat and drink so of course it will smell of what you have had. Water flushes out your system and if you can smell your pee it is too concentrated. So again DRINK MORE WATER

this is a very rare disease called pishalietus its common in overweight monkeys ,or cunts continually pishing on their hands

Not seen it with coffee...certainly happens with medicines, alcohol and some strong curries!!

That is seriously ridiculous. First of all the ammonia in your urine would mask any smell. this is just your mind playing with you.

but...if you have sweet smelling urine that is sign of diabetes. and before everyone gives me a thumbs down, that is an indicator and a great self check to do.

as for the coffee, an whatever. that's nonsense.

in B.C times when diabetes was first found, Physicians would poor a sample of urine over an ant hill, and if the ants scattered it was fine, but if they gathered towards it, it would have high levels of sugar. funny tid-bit.

What goes in must come out I notice it after drinking strong coffee

This always happens when i've eaten sugar puffs. lol. Is your piss a dark yellow colour or white? If it is not white then you should be drinking more water. You'll realise that it won't smell as much if at all it does. Remember 8 glasses of water a day.
