I'm short and need help to help me grow tall?!

Question: I'm 17 turning 18 on october and i'm 1.72m. I'm considered short and i try my very best to help myself grow tall. i've read that growing tall happens when you're asleep. when all the growth hormones start gushing out from within you. i'm wondering, if as long as you sleep 8hours, it should be alright? i guess? no matter what time, as long as it's 8 hours right? what are other natural methods to get these hormones out of you? does skipping helps?

You may be below average in height but you are within the range of average--not overly short at all. So try not to worry. Everyone grows differently--you might still have a few inches left. Or not. Unfortunately it's out of your hands. The best you can do is eat well and take care of yourself. The rest is up to nature.
p.s. You're taller than Tom Cruise and Robert Redford.

Only your parents can help you grow tall.
If they did not give you the tall gene then there is nothing you can do to get taller. Sorry.

Don't listen to pat m.
He's short too.
There is nothing wrong with being short, a lot of girls dig short guys. There really isn't a whole lot you can do about your heighth. However, since you are only 17, you still have quite a few years to grow. Guys don't stop growing until about their early 20's, if I'm not mistaken.
Oh...yeah, don't take steriods, then your voice will get all high and squeaky like pat's....jk...
