Is it possible to have razor bumps around genital area?!


Question: After i shave pelvic and genital area i notice bumps appear that seem to be razor bumps.I already know its not any kind of std so could they be razor bumps

Yes, that definitely could be razor burn. Remember to always shave with the grain, never against, and to make sure there is something there to shave (don't do it every day, the skin down there is very sensitive!). Try getting some lotion with aloe in it, using that after shaving will help reduce razor burn.

There are bumps there even if you don't shave. Forgot what they were called. Anyhow, it is completely normal if they are white. If they are red and itchy, it may indicate a "sensitivity" to the razor or cream us used.

Try not shaving against the grain!

Yes you can get razor bumps and they can itch and become infected if you don't shave that area properly.

Shave with the grain then after you get out of the shower wipe with alcohol, it burns but it works!!!!
