How are men's prostates different from women's?!

Question: I don't really know much about it, but it seems like it takes longer for guys to go #2, and they are prone to more prostate problems as well as hemorrhoids. Why is this?

In general, the prostate stores and produces some of the seminal fluid from men. It's about the size of a walnut, I believe.

It *can* be troublesome, at times; it can become enlarged, which can cause extreme discomfort for men; it can also become cancerous, which could be fatal.

(It is *not* the testicles.)

Women don't have them

Women do not have prostates.

Women don't have prostate glands. Did you take biology when you were in high school? You must not have been paying attention if you don't know that women don't have prostate glands; or that a prostate gland and g spot have nothing do with the how well a person defecates.

The prostate gland for some men is a source of intense sexual stimulation if slight pressure or friction is given to it during receptive anal sex, however that is not its main function, just a side benefit. Certain pressure against this gland can cause intense orgasms and more pre-seminal fluid and semen to leak out than usual.

The only thing comparable to this with women is their g-spots.

It doesn't take longer for guys to go number 2. I have 3 to 4 bowel movements per day and it slides right out, and no I don't have diarrhea.

Prostates glands can be fragile and get diseased for any number of reasons. They are finding that the bad western diet and lack of exercise is mainly to blame

Hemorrhoids can be caused by too much anal sex or eating the wrong foods. The gender of the person doesn't factor

mens prostates are different than womens in only one way. Men actually have them

It is really easy to get confussed, actually it has nothing to do with #2 as you say, defecation is normal in men and women, also, the hemorroids have to do with many factors, mostly none of them have to do with sex (some do but is not the case of your question), also, Women do not have Prostate, thus this is the one of the glands that produce the semen, and not, this is not a testicle as someone said, but it is exclusive of men, i have never heard even of an hermafrodite who has it, so i would think just men have it, it is about 2 inches from the rectum reach (meaning if you reach inside the anus) and usually is very sensitive to touch. Women have many other parts in their reproductive system, but i am not sure if there is any that works as the prostate, just in one way, and that would be the pleasure feeling spot, called in women g-spot, witch is easy to reach inside the vagina, a couple of inches, and is as sensitive as the clitoris

We're way difference in that we don't have them! I think you could benefit in a basic course in biology!

First, women don't have prostate glands - only men do. Its main function is to store seminal fluid. A healthy proatate should be about the size of the average walnut. It may become enlarged or may become cancerous, but I don't think it causes any trouble when defecating. An enlarged prostate may cause difficulty with urination. It is also thought to be the male g-spot as it may be stimulated for enhanced sexual pleasure. If you insert a well-lubricted (glove, optional bu highly recommended) finger into a man's anus you should be about to feel it with the tip of your finger. So, by deduction, it is not the testicles!
Maybe you should google 'prostate' or go to wikipedia for more information.

Uh, women don't have prostates. LOL!

What question will you ask next? "How are men's cervixes different from women's?"

... women don't have one

A mans prostate is his testicles.. do your research
Women dont have em
