I have something like that every once in a while. It's caused by nerves. It's weird and worries me at times but I figue I'm only 23 and have had my heart check and everything is cool so I guess I'll live.
Could be that your husband is under stress and this is how it is manifesting itself. However you really should get him checked out today either by the GP or a quick visit to your local ER or A&E. Better safe than sorry

I think he could be tired or stressed out and may be needs to take it easy. From my personal experience, I use to drink a lot of caffeine and it Would give me heart palpitations or it could be a A heart murmur- is an extra or unusual sound heard during your heartbeat. Murmurs range from very faint to very loud and sometimes sound like a whooshing sound but just to be sure check it out good luck

been there. Mine was caused by acid relux. Does he drink caffinated drinks? Caffeine will make reflux worse. Have him try Pepcid or Zantac. That may help it cheaper that DR visit.
