i dont buy my own underwear, but for the most part, people with smaller u-know-whats buy boxers and people with larger u-know whats buy boxer-briefs. Thats the way it seems in the lockerroom at my school.
i buy boxers cause i prefer the freedom they offer rather than the support offered by boxer-briefs.
im only 15 n im 6 inches. i wear boxers not briefs. i don't wear them to hide my size because honestly im not that small. i feel that wen i get hard i dnt want people seeingg it bulge in the briefs where as in plain ol' boxers i can hide it somewhat. there is also studies that show that the tighter the pnats [in this case underwear] it actually reduces sperm count.
For the most part penis size has nothing to do with whether a guy wears boxers or briefs. Although it can have something to do with it.
Boxers provide more freedom and less sweating, are more comfortable, and can be worn as shorts without looking obscene in some environments.
Briefs provide a tighter contoured fit for guys that wear for example, a tapered jean. Briefs are mainly popular with fit and attractive guys, cause boxers would feel sloppy and uncomfortable to wear with tight jeans.
Briefs also last longer cause the cotton and seams are sewn together better and the cotton is thicker.
Quite frankly I think that boxers are much sexier on men than briefs. Briefs are too "in your face" , and don't provide a good looking silhouette on most guys that I have seen wearing them.
Boxer Briefs are really a newer type of underwear that haven't been on the scene that long. They are really just a modified form of briefs that provide more coverage and all the benefits of briefs.
