Passing Gas?!?!

Question: Hello everyone!
Last time, I asked the question,
"Sometimes, I have very stinky farts. Is it harmful to my body if I smell it too much? (This is not a joke! I'm serious!)"

This time, I'm going to make the question more obvious since none of the answers I recieved last time were on topic.

Sometimes, I have very stinky farts. IS IT HARMFUL TO MY BODY IF I SMELL IT TOO MUCH since bodily excretions contain toxins? (This is not a joke! I'm serious!)
(Please don't give me anymore answers related to 'farting is normal')

Farts contain gasses, but from the time the gas reaches your nose it has mixed with enough oxygen that is will not hurt you. However, if you bottled your gas, then enveloped your head in a tightly enclosed space with it, then you'd be in trouble.
I think i've found the website for you. check it out:

as for the dangers of the gas, look at this excerpt:

http://www.cdc.gov/nasd/docs/d001501-d00...

PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF HYDROGEN SULPHIDE

Hydrogen sulphide is classified as a toxic chemical, in high concentrations it will lead to almost instantaneous poisoning and death. High concentrations will result in the complete arrest of respiration. A person over come by this gas should promptly be removed from the contaminated area and given immediate artificial respiration.

Exposure to lesser concentrations may result in nausea, stomach distress, belching and coughing. Moderate concentrations may result in eye irritation.

Also, you might find this chart handy:

PHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSE OF ADULT HUMANS TO HYDROGEN SULPHIDE **

Effect Concentration
Mg (H2S)/1 Kg (Air)
Least Detectable Odour 0.01-0.7
Offensive Odour 3-5
Eye Irritation 10
Irritation Mucous Membranes
and Lungs 20
Irritation of Respiratory Tract 50-100
Olefactory Nerve Paralysis 150
Headache, Dizziness 200
Nausea, Excitement, Unconsciousness 500-600
Rapidly Fatal 700-2000

OK, this time I will be more obvious as well..

Farts are methane gas. a byproduct. I would NOT make it a common practice to sit and smell your farts for an excessive amount of time. NO gas was intended for long term inhalation. So, my answer to your question would be, yes, it can be harmful.

its not harmful to your body you just need to drink some bitters or wash out and flush your system and you will stop farting so stink

Boo you!
