don't worry so much about supplements, change your lifting routing. if you do the same movements over and over you will get less gains from them even if you are adding weight.

Instead, change you routine every 3-4 weeks to where you are doing less weight with higher reps, do different excercises to work the same mucles(i.e. do dumbell or incline presses instead of benching), then switch back in a couple of weeks to using heavier weights and lower reps.

not getting into a routine means you won't let your muslces develop memory so your excersizes will get you stronger.

anything high in protien like muscle milk.

I agree with the comment "anything high in protein". Visit your health store (GNC, VitaminShoppe, etc) and ask someone knowledgeable (store clerk, customers, manager) about their stock in muscle producing products. Find the name of the company, research it on the internet by asking those professionals about maintaining muscle mass.

Your body can only process and absorb so much at a time. Stuffing piles of rich crap into your system will only overload your renal system trying to process it out.

That's going to cause a drain of resources and make your system run "dirtier" - and that's not conducive to growing stronger.

You are probably over-training. That's the most common error. Or, your split system isn't working for you or hasn't been changed-up recently enough and your body isn't getting adaptive reflex triggered by what you're doing.

Read Hatfield's "Bodybuilding a Scientific Approach" and you'll find what you need.
