basically, your adult height is predetermined by genetics and there's little you can do to make yourself taller than you are supposed to be. However by keeping activite physically, eating a lot of good nutritious foods, doing normal exercises, sleeping the right amount every night and getting lots of fresh air and sunshine you improve the chaces of growing up to yrou full potential.

Foods - lots of fresh fruits and veggies with proper meat mortions for protein.
Exercise -
walk or bike; don't drive or be driven
if you use a bus, get off a couple stops early and board a few stops later.
use stairs not elevators
go for brisk walks several times a day.
and yes pushups and sitsups are fine too.
for more ask a phys ed coach; they usually know a lot fo just regular exercises that don't involve working out.

One thing though. No matter what you try, your body is goign to grow only as fast as yrou pubverty schedule will handle so height gain will happen when it is destined to.

Dude just drink orange juice each day for some time i did that and i grew like 5-6 inches over the summer.

just be your self , your only 14, and your still growing

Height is determined by genetics and nutrition. If you don't have the genes, you won't be tall, even if you eat well. If you have the genes, they won't 'turn on' under conditions of malnutrition or famine. But really all you need is a sensible diet with adequate amounts of protein. Stretching does nothing to make bones grow.
If you were quite rich and wanted to undergo expensive and time consuming surgery, you could have surgery on your legs to make them longer, but this would be a nightmare, as it requires bed rest for weeks. It's not a sensible option.
Weight lifting didn't stunt your father's growth; it can't do that.

Seriously this works my friend used to be really short. He was 5 foot 3 and a few years ago his new year's resolution was to get taller. he was 21 and someone told him that exercise and stretching was good for that, but then his father told him that if he drinks lot of calcium his bones would keep growing past 21. So he drank like a gallon of milk a day and seriously! It worked!

He grew like 3 inches in 3 years. On his 24th b day he measured himself and her was like 5 foot 6. I don't know how that worked but I think it was so healthy that it worked and the exercise too. But the milk thing really does work. He's got his friends trying it out now.

Try it for like a year and see what happens

Mostly you just need to stay off the weights over 30lbs when it comes to stunting your growth.

All in all you are really relying on genetics for how tall you will become. Stretches are not really gonna make a difference in height, but will help you lumber around better if you are flexible.

Your father's stunted growth will not pass you as long as you don't get on the juice or start benchpressing all the time with a lot of weight.

Stick with normal cardio workouts with push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, and lunges. Only use light weights if you cannot stay away from them. If you start lifting serious too early then you will not reach your full potential height.

Diet will not make a difference. Just make sure it is a healthy one.

Ummm u cant retard!

Go throught puberty, that helps you grow!
