Gynocologists for men?!

Question: just wondering who does a guy see when he wants to get checked up for s.t.d.s. h.i.v. and the h.p.v. and what does he ask for? does he see his regular doctor...or...thanks!

will just a standard blood-test be enough

Males who need such a test just see their regular doctor (or more likely a nurse practioner) who orders the test and screens the results. If the male has a problem, he first sees his regular doctor and then a specialist. A male with HIV might be referred to an oncologist or someone who specializes in HIVor AIDS, but those other diseases you mentioned would be handled by the primary care physician (i.e., regular doctor).

Men with more troublesome sexual problems that the primary care physician is not able to handle would be referred to a urologist.

Ewe-idk

regular

go to a family doctor or a urologist (man gyn) and ask to be tested for those things

His regular doctor. It will be a blood test, and maybe some examination and collecting samples from inside the urethra. If he doesn't do it himself, the doctor can give a referral.

There's no such thing as a Gynecologist for men. They don't have female bits.

Start with a family doctor. If that does not resolve the problem, see a urologist.

The closest thing we have is an urologist.

i am a Doctor.

A urologist of course.

better consult a medical practitioner personally

because the guy you want to get tested should be physically examined first before any tests..

the male penis isnt as complicated...a regular dr will do fine

A general practicioner or a urologist. There is no test for HPV in a man. That can only be diagonsed if he has symptoms....other STD's are done through "swabbing" or blood tests. Urologist or regular GP are the typical ones for a male.

A Urologist, or an Internist.

Does he have any symptoms? Any doctor can order a blood test for HIV as far as STD's any tests would be symptom dependent.

The best advise is from a uroligist.

yes they do. Andrology is the department of Gynea for men. for your problem there should be special STD, GUM clinics or Urologist. see your doctor first.
