Eric C.... though your friend has more pubic hair then you, doesn't mean you won't eventually pass him in having thicker pubic and body hair later. Everyone matures at different rates. Our genes are what determines our outcome. You may have less public and body hair and a much larger penis, and more chest and facial hair. Time will tell. He will no doubt be through puberty before you are, as he is maturing at a faster pacde then you. Don't be so concerned with him developing at a faster rate. You could still catch up and pass him even though he at this point is hairy compared to you. You both have a long ways to go before your done son. Be proud of what God gives you and that it works fine. Being hairy and having a large or what some call a small penis does not make a man any more or less a man. I assure you young man you will be just as much a man as i or any other man. Hope this has help you. By the ways i was hairy and had heavy pubic hair when i was younger, but with age we tend to lose hair in the pubic, and chest area as I have found now that i will soon be turning 59. Good Luck!
Everybody develops at a different age. Most guys finish puberty around 21. My friend is 12, and his armpit hair is huge. So its normal, you will have that same thing very soon.

you are slowly going trough it.. some day you will wake up to see more hair on your penis and armpits than him.
He might have hit puberty before you or his genetic makeup is to be a bit hairy. It is hard to say for sure but you all still have a way to go no need to rush enjoy the time while your still young.
He will probably stop before you do. People develop at different rates though. Longer puberty is an advantage when you are an adult.

DONT worry bout it my cousins like 9 and he has more hair than me on his back and im 13! some people are just harryer than others. at the end youll have the same things as him but mabye less or more
Puberty is a process during which teen develops into adulthood . It can happen at different ages and differing rates for each individual
If he already has a bush of pubic hair he is quite well developed for 12 as normally there is only fairly sparse growth at first .
There is no simple answer to this , it could be that you will suddenly start developing quickly and overtake him , but to be honest you will probably both finish about the same time, 17 or 18
The other thing to bear in mind is that all guys are prone to exaggerate a bit as I am sure you might have done with him too , but it is not a race to see who gets what and when , just be patient and get on with living

but anyway, don't worry about it, you're just a late bloomer, it won't matter in the long run.
