It is different. It is seriously like having sex with latex when you wear a condom. It is SO much better the old fashioned way. Plus putting a condom on really puts a damper on the mood for me personally.
I think part of it in mental. Before I got married i was always worried that it was gonna break or sometimes if your penis is wet (from lube or saliva) you can feel it start to slide, so that kinda always bothered me. There is a definite loss of sensation though I mean for a woman imagine putting a piece of latex over your clitoris and trying to orgasm, it'll happen but its gonna feel less pleasurable. And while it may be slightly less pleasurable it's much better than worrying about becoming a father before you are ready.

Nothing is as good as bare, with that said, its better to be safe then dead. The trick is to use a safe lube on your member before you put it on, that way you still get the friction with motion. very nice!

I've never had sex before (I'm 19), so I personally wouldn't know. However, once I find my special girl, I probably won't ever use condoms. I can't wear them; for I won't wear them. Put on a surgical glove and see how it changes your sense of touch - about like that. Yes, it's different and not as intense. No, it's not that big a deal if you're willing to make it work. Ignoring the STD thing for a moment, lots of ladies' birth control can have unpleasant side effects. (Have you ever gotten a mouthful of spermicide? Yuk.). Taking turns or going with the lowest side effects is only fair.

It has its good and bad points...it keeps you from getting pregnant and makes the guy go longer but it does take away from the sensitivity....But that shouldn't matter if your guy is doing it right cause by the time you are putting it on for him you both should be good and worked up from the foreplay...And if that is what you want, for him to wear one, make him.
