How do you keep an uncircumcised penis clean?!

Question: I have one and I think I'm not cleaning it right. I found some junk under the flap, and I tried to clean it but it hurts. What should I do?

Shower each day, and spend 5-10 seconds pulling the foreskin back and just washing your entire penis with soap. Then rinse, and when you get out, pull it back again and dry. Simple.

use soap and water

You kow what I do sometimes? I get that redzone body wash with the micro beads in it and while I'm scrubbing myself down I roll back the foreskin and get some of the micro beads by dabbing them up with my finger and I place them under the head. Then I wrap it back up and do a bit of scrubbing then roll it back down and rinse it off.

Seriously though, drying the foreskin and head is also important. When you get out of the shower roll it back and really dry it all off.

Try bathing.

Soap and water come to mind.
Seriously.
Some men have a tight foreskin and it is sometimes painful to try and clean under the head of the penis. Can you roll your foreskin over the head? If not see your doctor, he may have to make a small incision to help loosen your skin so it can be better manipulated allowing you to clean better all around. Uncircumsized men tend to have more hygine issues as sweat and body oils can form under the hood and behind the penis crown, creating a cheesey looking gunk called smegma. Not to pleasant to whip it out to show somebody and have that going on.

it is called a SHOWER.

for christ's sake, all u have 2 do is pull the skin back and WASH, its not difficult

I don't know how old you are...have you retracted it much before? The junk is probably smegma. It's normal to get that under the foreskin. Just that most guys wash it daily before it has a chance to accumulate. I'm guessing your head is sensitive and the smegma has been there for a while, because you're a teen who hasn't done this before? I would say just very very gently rub it in the bath or shower every time and after a while the gunk should go and it should be less sensitive. If you normally retract and wash and this is a new thing then I'm not sure of what it could be, you would have to give more info.

It's just smegma buildup and sensitivity from not washing and exposing the glans to touch. Using oil or a benign aqueous cream, like Vitamin E cream, can help soften the buildup and make removal easier. Once you have got rid of the buildup you can just wash daily by skinning back and rinsing with plain water.
If the opening is tight you may need to stretch. Don't even think about circumcision. That's a totally unnecessary mutilation that should only be used as a last resort.
Below is an extract from my stretching instructions. Tey include stuff about sensitivity and buildup removal.
"STRETCHING TECHNIQUE ONE
If the foreskin is very tight the simplest method is to pull back on the skin (easiest with an erection) so that the opening feels tight and a bit uncomfortable without real pain. Hold that for a few minutes and repeat a few times. Do this a couple of times a day. You will find that soaking in a warm bath will make the skin softer and easier to stretch.
The major disadvantage with this method occurs when some stretching has been achieved or if the phimosis was mild to begin with. Once the opening is big enough to just fit over the rim of the glans when erect the foreskin is at risk of getting stuck behind it. If this happens a condition know as paraphimosis may develop.
This is why stretching technique two is probably better once the foreskin opening is big enough to make it almost possible to slide the foreskin back over the glans.

PROBLEMS?
If the opening becomes sore, or develops splits, stop for a few days and let things heal up. Going at it too fast will only slow things down in the end. Sometimes splits and tightness are due to a fungal or yeast (thrush) infection. Treatment with an antifungal / anti-yeast cream designed for women
