You're about 10-11 years old.

1. If you have pubic hair you are right on target, and likely to grow at 12-14

2. If you're have armpit hair you are more likely to be an early bloomer have a growthspurt ( most likely) at 11-13

3. If you have none of the above signs I would expect you may be a later bloomer, most likely to have a growthspurt around 13-15

It may be a while

you just answered your question, everyone is different, there is no way to tell, but likely within the next year or so

Its coming soon, your just gonna have to be patient. It will happen, and then it will stop, and then you'll have the main one, just dont worry about it

6th Grade.....you'll gain a foot Unless you're ancestors are all short ( below 5'), then you'll gain only an inch or two.

Ahhh..... Puberty

If you were born in 1997, that makes you about eleven years old. Growth spurts are associated with puberty, that period of life where the child's body develops rapidly into that of a mature adult. Testosterone and other hormones are mainly responsible for this in males and apart from increased height, changes such as deepening of the voice, lengthening of the penis and hair growth also happen.

Puberty in girls may start as early as nine in girls, so at your age most girls will be taller than you are. Boys can start about one or two years later (that's your age), but some don't until as late as seventeen. At your height, you should be taller than more than three-quarters of boys your age.

Believe it of not, the later you have your growth spurt, the taller you will be. This is because even without it you are growing still and after it you simply stop growing.

Anyways, you can look out for your growth spurt anywhere between now and 2014. Looking at your position on my growth chart, you should be pretty tall (about six feet).

so your around 11-12 years of age , although you may feel small now , doesn't mean you'll stay like that

Men generally get the growth spurts at the end of puberty , which in some cases is around 16-19 , so you have nothing to worry about ,

it is different for many people , and it does happen at different ages , but for you it most likely won't happen for a few more years

if you feel your small now that'll change , when i was in school i was the smallest in my class , now after 4 years (I'm 18) I'm over 6ft 3

so basically to sum up , you'll grow in time ,
Don't worry , be happy
