By ball you mean testicle? Ask the doc about testicular cancer too. Often times pain in the abdomen/legs can be a sign for it.
Get him some oxycontin and take him to the E.R.

It could be many things not just a hernia, Prostittus, whic is an inflimation in the prostate. It could be eppididimitus, which is an inflimation in the scrotum more the tube. He could have a kidney infection, or even kidney stones. Either way getr him to the doctor and have him checked out.
He has a hernia which is where he has a weak spot in the abdominal muscle and something has dropped down, usually a part of the bowel or intestine. It is a simple procedure to push it back up and repair but he must see a doctor straight away!

Classic symptoms of back strain/herniated disc anywhere from the L5-S1 vertebrae on down...with the testicle involved it indicates a herniated disc at about the S2 level. All the comments about cancer and hernias are wrong.

dont know what the testical bit is but the other 2 could be sciatica. i have it. not a majior issue. its basicly a bit of a trapped nerve in the spine. it can make a shooting pain go down a leg or 2. see a doctor about sciatica. he gave me an elastic ribon to do simple exercises on.
