Sport Workout?!


Question: OK, I am 17 and play lacrosse. I am just trying to burn off about 20 to 25 pounds by May/June. I have practice everyday starting Febuary 25 and we run full out for about 2 miles each day along with the other drills. Is there anything I can do that would help out with losing weight. Actually not losing weight but shaping up. Flatter stomach, better physique, etc... Last year my face got slimmed up but I quit exercising after the season, so I guess if I keep up some type of physical activity I would continue to slim down.

well if you want to burn fat it has to be at a heart rate from 120 to about 135 and you could do this on a bike, treadmill, step master, any of the machines i nthe gmy that is most popular basically. Now if you want to do cardio you want to get your heart going much faster, id say go to a local park or field and do suicides( run 50 & back, 40&back, 30 &back, 20& back, 10& back) repeat this a couple of times then do wind sprints which is where you run 1 length of the field full speed then jog back and continuously do this till your puke, and you'll be thinner and more conditioned than any1 else on the field

situps and try to run you really wanna be focusing on abwork so do crunches and other things
