Am I lacking hormones???!

Question: Here's the thing, I am 16, and I have already had my growth spurt, I have gone through all physical changes and I look my age, but my problem is my voice hasnt changed yet, which sucks because people make fun of it, and because of that, I avoid talking as much as possible. My voice is soft, quiet, and higher, and i hate it. Why hasnt my voice changed yet??? lack of hormones or something else???

Hey dude, my bro's voice didn't change till he was almost 18. Got some funny calls from guys who thought he was one of the sisters.. lol! Anyway, everybody's / every body's different Just cause you had some changes doesn't mean you're done. I started getting hairy when I was 10 dude! People make fun of a lot of sh*t, good and bad. Joke 'em if they can't take a f*ck, right? It would be a good idea to check with a doc...should a physical each year anyhow, and one extra visit won't hurt you..accept the blood test maybe. They can check your testosterone level, and I bet ya you are fine. And hey, a lot of dudes with higher voices have the ladies. DON'T try taking a bunch of herbal / mail in ('rip-off') stuff. If you need something, the doc will fix you up. And, same with the muscle thing. Look at some guys who have a build like you'd like, then go to a trainer (at the Y or somethin) and they'll help you out. Hang in there bro, you'll be gold!

welcome to my world but don't worry like me maybe the last thing that will change is your voice don't worry its normal

YOU ARE GROWING AND YOU WILL GET THIS KIND OF SITUATION AND ITS NORMAL.

you have low testosterone levels

don't worry right now, if u still not changing after 18, then start going to the doctors

possibly. the only way to really know is to go to your Doctor and have them draw for blood test-

do you like to sing? you might be a natural tenor!

Trust me.....your fine kid!! I have a high voice too. Not that high but it ain't deep!! I mean I think I don't that that much testosterone in me either compared to the other boys but what can I say!!

Your only 16 so you still have time to grow!! Do worry about it and just chill. It will happen naturally and will catch you off guard. Me on the other hand, I am 19 and a loser. I am done growing so I'll be this way for the rest of my life!!!
