Anyway, not too many males agree with your assessment. According to a survey of more than 10,000 males by the web site HealthyStrokes .com in the second half of 2007, the average male rated masturbation 8.02 on a scale of 1 to 10 and intercourse 8.82. In fact, a majority of males -- 51 percent -- gave intercourse a 10.
Only 17 percent of males gave masturbation a higher rating.
In a separate question in the same survey, sexually experienced males were asked whether they thought intercourse or masturbating was more fun. 76 percent preferred intercourse and only 24 percent preferred masturbation.
One's sexual preference makes a big difference in that question. These are the percent finding intercourse more fun, broken down by sexual preference:
Exclusively straight, 84 percent
Mostly straight, 69 percent
Bisexual, 53 percent
Mostly gay, 41 percent
Exclusively gay, 44 percent
Confused, 44 percent
