"Tossing Salad". Why would it be called that???!
Question: I asked a question about "going @ss to mouth", which grosses me out. but I guess someone like it. (But it doesnt sound healthy).
Anyways, someone answered and called it "tossing salad".

You're probably a little too young to remember this, but there was this HBO prison special on about 15 years ago. When they were interviewing the inmates, they were talking about the different things that go on in prisons and how certain inmates are raped and how different gang members are initiated inside. Anyway...one of the inmates then told the interviewer that newcomers had to "toss their salad". Obviously the interviewer had no clue and the inmate then described it for him.
As far as I can remember, this is where it comes from. I think everyone saw the special, and they were so shocked at the term and act going on in a prison, that it became a very known phrase.
Unfortunately, it's not veyr self-explanatory so I'm not sure where it came from, but Chris Rock has a stand up show that's hilarious where he talks about the "Tossed Salad Man" from that special. You should listen if you ever get a chance.
I dont know but the first thing that came to mind is that someone tried it and vomitted up their salad. Kinda funny....
