Question: ok my friend is now 5 foot 8 and he's 12, im 12 and a half and im 5'7, before in the fifth grade i used to be taller than him, how come he is taller than me now, even though my parents are taller and yea. my question is how come the people who grew more at younger age is slower than a person who didn't
does this mean i won;t grow anymore? should i be scared

Don't be ridiculous! You have several more years of growing unless there is something wrong.
You'll probably be well over 6 feet tall in a couple years, unless you had puberty very early and already had your growth spurt (which I doubt at 12).
Your friend probably is having his growth spurt a bit younger than you are. Is he further along in his puberty maybe? Does he have arm pit hair, voice change, facial hair or chest hair already for example where you don't?

dude, normal people don't stop growing till their 16... some don't even stop till 18-19... the earliest age is around 15.... there was one time for me that I didn't grow for so long.. and then I started growing like an inch and a half every week! don't worry

You will grow more, i promise. Guys keep growing even after they turn 16. my brother was 5'6 when he was 12 he's 13 and now he's almost 6'1"
Hey man that is great that is above average which is good!!!! I'm 5''9" and 12 and a half you have nothing to woryy about. They used a growth chart to predict my permanent heighth and they said i'll be 6'5" or more you'll prbly be around there when your done growing too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you probably entered puberty at an late age. don't worry you will grow more dont worry about size right now until you get to 20. thats is around the time you body stops growing.
