Should i be concerned about my bfs penis?!


Question: he has little tiny almost microscopic bumps right behind the head...when the fore skin is pulled back..also some at the beginning of the penis..where the pubs are...i asked him about it and he said he asked a dr and the dr said they were sweat glands...are they sweat glands?

Sebaceous glands are a form of sweat glands, so the doctor is correct.

As for the ones on the rim of the head, they're pearly penile papules, as mentioned. Here is a link. They're completely normal. Overall, I wouldn't worry about your boyfriend's penis; it sounds natural:

The ones at the base of the penis are sebaceous (oil) glands and hair follicles (that would have a sweat gland with them). The ones on the rim of the glans are pearly penile papules, a harmless growth attached to nerves that actually increase sensation.
Both sorts are totally harmless, non-contagious and normal.

Hmmm. Dont get me wrong I dont want to make your bf out to be a liar but I would be a little concerned. I would reccomend going to the gnyo or your doctor and get a pap and pelvic just in case. It sounds a lot like HPV (which isnt that big of a deal) to me genital bumps, lumps, and warts look different on everybody so just make sure your bf was correct about that
