Question: ok, my girlfriend and i have been dating for a while and i want more from the relationship. i get to feel her up while we're making out and all but when ever i try to finger her she always pushes my hand away and we continue making out. I dont enjoy the awkward conversations about whether she's ready so how else can i know when she is ready to do more with me, and take it to the next level?

you shouldn't be having awkward conversations at all, by making her talk about it she may feel like you are pressuring her and this may push her away. you will know she is ready when she tells you shes ready. ease off and she might come to you sooner than you think.until then think about her feelings and not yours. give her a break.
the "awkward conversation" is what you should do.
it's awkward for her cause it's awkward for you. you need to show her you're confident about communication.

You shouldn't be fingering her anyway. What is that all about? I agree with the last guy. Get her opinion on the whole thing.
First off make sure you have your finger nails trimmed and sanded of all sharp edges and make sure your hands are doctor clean
No girl wants a nasty finger or anything unclean put inside them She may of seen your hands and know that you do not wash them all that much
So maybe you might be taken this advice of

Sorry, but her pushing your hand away is already an answer. She's simply not ready. If that bothers you, then you *do* need to talk to her about it and what she IS comfortable with.

you are fingering her too hard ... you need to be very gentle and tease that thing , do not overdo it , minimum insertion , rub the top and edges .... good luck man , i want to thank my older friend dave that told me this when i was a young man having the same problem ....
slow and gentle , try some licking , she will love it and want you bad :)
