Stomach hurts during school, I have no lunch, I just want it to stop?!


Question: I asked this before (check my profile) so I will ask it again

I am in the 10th grade. I have ALL classes, req. and electives. I actually just recently got out of lunch for numerous reasons. Anyway, I am much happier but here is the thing. Around mid morning (9-10) my stomach growls very loud and hurts throughout the entire day until 2:30 when I have lunch, I don't skip, just have a late lunch when I go back home. But anyway, here is the question: For those 3-4 hours, what over the counter thing could I take to at least make it so I can't feel the pain of my stomach digesting air and growling for food? I know its a hunger pain, its just I don't have the time for lunch at these hours, and need a working relief, thats it...

Antacid tablets will help stop the excess wind and grumbling, but will not sort the hunger itself. But you should really think about eating breakfast every day rather than waiting so long for lunch.

I would go see a doctor. Rolaids are for stomach acid, heartburn, and stuff like that. It sounds like you may have a digestive problem. It may also be something that you are eating. Please go see a doctor.

It sounds like you are skipping breakfast. If you are having a small breakfast increase the amount of protein you have in the morning have two eggs. Protein stay with you longer than ceral or toast.

Or as another idea. I take a can of Ensure with me to work and if I have to work through lunch I open the small can and it holds me over until dinner time

You need to have a snack. That's the thing. Take yourself a lunchable or a sandwich to eat around 11 and you will feel much better. Tell your teacher what goes on, most would be understanding, or just eat in between classes.

I'm sorry, but what the hell? You're in school, the same grade I'm in even, you should have time for lunch. Just pack a lunch so you don't have to wait in line.

Your hungry. or you are simply growing at a alarming rate (I am in that situation).

Eat a home made lunch so you can pack it according to your needs!

can't you just bring something with you to school to eat during class? Ask your teacher if it's alright, because you don't have lunch.
Bring chips or crackers or cookies or something like that. Banana, yogurt, poptarts....anything.

Uhhh, the safest and easiest thing to do would be to eat! Just eat a sandwich or an apple.

It's probably from skipping lunch or was there a long line? Tell your teacher, you need to eat something otherwize your gonna die from starvation.

Pack an apple with you and eat it at 2:00 this should stop the pains. It's a light thing to pack and you can eat it on the go.
