Penis concern?!

Question: I am a 26 year old male (virgin).

I have never had any penis problems, and I am not even sure I have a problem now, but I'd like your thoughts on this:

Right next to the penis opening, there is this little pore. It seems to fill every so often, with a white substance. I very gently 'pop' it in the shower, like every few weeks. Out comes a little white plug, which I wash away with running water. There is no itch or pain associated with it. I wonder is this healthy and normal, and should I 'pop' it or should I leave it?

It's exactly like a whitehead on your face, it's like the same sort of thing.

I am concerned because I fear it could become a locus for infection in the future with possibly dire consequences.

Sounds like one of the little glands each side of the frenulem is getting blocked. Mine do that too now and then. No big deal and I would not worry about it. You are doing the right thing unblocking it. Can't imagine that a doc could do much about it.

i believe ive done that once on my balls and it went away buy you might have an infection or and std. go to ur docter to get it checked out

Give me a break, this is a question that should be asked in private in a doctor's office.

Whitehead? Jeezzzzzzzzzz

doesnt sound like an infection more a blocked pore that has not been unblocked and keeps filling up until you pop it again try to unblock it completely next time you squeeze it

hmm see a doctor about this

It does not sound serious but I would say wash it more

could be some dirt down there but definalty see a doc

or at least go down to the free clinic they are everywhere.

it is totaly normal it is like a zit on your face but on your penis

Yeah... not normal dude!
You should consult your doctor about this!

You need to take that to a doctor. If it keeps coming back, it could be a problem. DO pimples come back in the exact same spot time after time? No. But herpes do. Being a virgin does not mean the same thing now as it did back in the day. You can get herpes from oral sex by a girl with a cold sore. GO to the doctor.

My son had that when he was circumcised, but it went away eventually. You on the other hand may need to consult a doctor because it could cause infection.

sounds like a zit on ur penis.

You shouldn't have any acne on your penis... acne stems from hair follicles and oil production..... different kind of tissue. My concern is if you have this "pore" that it is in fact some kind of infection.... this white plug may in fact be "pus". You should see a physician soon.

Take your penis to the doctor for a proper evaluation. It could be nothing or something serious.
Whit till it is about to appear or appears. You doctor can then pop it and take a culture/smear of the substance and let you know.

Nothing to be ashamed or fearful of, accept the shame of NOT seeing a doctor and later it turns out to be serious. If serious, there is a better chance of correcting the problem (if it is a problem) early or maybe even preventing a more serious problem.

he said penis *giggles*

u should go to the doctor anyway, u may never of had sex before but does not mean u could not have caught something another way, using the public bathroom could give u something so just go to the doctor and figure things out
