I had the same thing happen..and when i walked it hurt..it was an infection in my nuts..not an std..went to doc gave me some pills it went away
he needs to go see a doctor

has he had any trauma to the area lately? are there any lumps on either of his testicles? How long ha this been going on? Sometimes after sex this will happen, but it sounds as if this happens every time he stands? He should probably see a physician.
a doctor would answer that alot better than anyone here...
does or did he have any kidney stones??
is he active in sports??

Could be a condition referred to as "blue balls" (a "congested prostate"), which can be quite uncomfortable. Could also be a sprain, because he sat too quickly in an uncomfortable fashion.
