If you know you are done having kids what is the hang up about having a vasectom!
Question: I had a vasectomy six months ago. My wife and I talked we were done with having kids (biologically anyway) The next day I made an appoint for a consult and had it done. I know most men freak at the thought of one. Why? It is done out patient you are home that day. You are awake and honestly it was more painful to have my wisdom teeth pulled. It is safer to have it done than a woman to have her tubes tied. And if you have like two or three kids and don't want any more what is the problem. I am looking for men's honest fears on why they would never have it done and I am trying to dispel them. You still have semen no sperm. You still get your regular erections and you are no less a man because of it. If you feel like you will be less of a man WHY?

My wife and I are having the same conversation right now. This December she had a miscarriage, and I can't think of how much stress having that third child would have caused us. So I have been seriously considering a visectomy. My hang up is I work with the Urology clinic (as well as other specialty depts) in the hospital I work at. I know all the nurses, MA's and Dr.s' there, so I'm a little nervous about them doing the procedure. They are playfully flirtatious, so I don't want half the female staff cramming into the procedure room just to get a look at my penis. Some openly have joked that they would. So I think i'm having mine done at another area hospital. My biggest fear is having another kid, though.
well i wouldnt do it but my friend made a good point, he said when he gets older he is going to do that so that way he can do all kinds of women and not have to worry about haveing kids, thats him i probably wouldnt i would just ware like 2 condoms just to make sure u dont have kids
