Is there such a condition as elephantitis of the balls?!

Question: If so I think I have it. They started getting bigger but I thought it was just swelling. Normal right? Now they're about the size of softballs! It's hard to go anywhere cuz I have this huge bulge in front of my pants. What do you recommend I do?

Yes there is, you should see this picture of a guy with it on yahoo!

Peace.

Did you have the mumps recently? It is rare, but the mumps can affect the testicles, causing them to swell painfully.

Elephantitis is a condition of local enlargement and deformity, most often of a leg, though the scrotum, vulva, or breast may also be affected. The commonest form of elephantiasis is the tropical variety (filariasis) caused by infestation by parasitic roundworms (filaria); the enlargement is due to damage of the lymphatic system which impairs immunity. There are approximately 120 million people with elephantiasis worldwide
Lymphatic Filiarisis (elephantiasis) is a thread-like filarial worm is passed from person to person through the bite of an infected mosquito. Once inside the body of an unsuspecting person, the worm thrives in the lymph vessels and tissues. As it grows, it causes marked swelling of the limbs and other extremities. Elephantiasis is a skin disease that is MOST COMMON IN THE TROPICS. It gets its name because the affected skin becomes rough and thickened usually causes the disease. Mosquitoes carry the worm. When the mosquito bites, the worm enters the body and eventually lodges in the lymph vessels. It most commonly affects the limbs and can occasionally move to the scrotal areas and outer genitalia.
