Could my medicine do this to me?!
Question: i take celexa and missed a day so i just took 2 before i went to bed. i work 3rds so that was around noon today. when i woke up i almost felt messed up. my wife and i tried some fun but after a hour and a half it was time for work and i had to give it up. i was sweating profusely and stayed erect the whole time but had barely any to no sensation, down there. i almost still feel like im in a fog. i didnt think the celexa were that strong. could doubling my medicine on one day do this to me? or should i look into it more?

Your medication can definitely the problem you had today. It probably is the entire cause.
I took a couple of different anti depression medications a few years back. I had the same experience you did today. I could get an erection with no problem. Then no matter how long I had sex (or masturbated) I could not ejaculate. It was extremely frustrating. I was ready to give up sex.
I went to my psychiatrist and told him about the problems I was having. He switched me to Wellbutrin. After a few days, I was having more thoughts of sex than I'd had for several months. As celexa is an anti depressant I'm surprised you managed to get an erection to last that long most anti depressants have the opposite effect. The effects of feeling as though you were in a fog is not surprising either as celexa is only supposed to be taken once a day they are very strong. If you read the instructions coming with your medication dear, you will see that if you miss one, you should not double the dose on the next take, but take the normal dose again.....
